Douglas Lim

Douglas Lim, known as the King of Malaysian Comedy, is an actor, comedian, and radio presenter. Douglas is currently appearing in his hit live comedy show, Made in Malaysia.

His career began during his matriculation studies when he appeared in the sitcom Kopitiam. His role as Steven the Stylist stole the show, earning him a nomination for Best Actor (Comedy) at the Asian Television Awards. He has also appeared in TV commercials and starred in various TV shows and films, including the historical film 1957: Hati Malaya and Los dan Faun.

Douglas has also been involved in theatre, performing in productions such as Lat Kampung Boy: Sebuah Muzikal. Additionally, he voiced a character in the animated film Bola Kampung: The Movie and played roles in the sitcom Spanar Jaya X and the live-action theatre Ola Bola: The Musical. His satirical online spoofs and live comedy performances across Malaysia as well as in Australia have further increased his popularity.

His latest song, ‘Oh Mak I Dah CNY’, was released in late January.
